Mt. Jewett council adopts budget with tax hike

MT. JEWETT – The final 2014 budget for Mt. Jewett carries a half-mill increase in the tax rate.
The boost raises the Mt. Jewett tax rate to 8.25 mills. This means taxpayers will pay $8.25 for every $1,000 in assessed property valuation.
