Jeff Kocjancic goes over 1,000 as Wolves defeat Rovers

Photo by Amy Geer – Kane's Jeff Kocjancic goes up for two of his 18 points on the night. Kocjancic became only the seventh player in Kane boys' history to score 1,000 points. The Wolves rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat Brockway in the Wolves' Den on Friday.

The Kane Wolves lost a nail-biter to Brookville on Wednesday as senior Jeff Kocjancic closed in on the 1,000 career point plateau. On Friday night, in front of a large crowd in the Wolves’ Den, the Wolves rallied to defeat the Brockway Rovers and Kocjancic scored 18 points to become only the seventh player in Kane boys’ basketball history to top 1,000 points for a career.
