Amelia Irene (Znidarsic) Morgan

Amelia Irene (Znidarsic) Morgan, 83, of Sayre, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 at Elderwood Nursing Home, Waverly.
Amelia “Emma” was born April 18, 1930 to the late John and Irene Znidarsic in James City. She graduated from Kane High School in 1948. Emma married John M. Morgan of Halsey in 1951, and they lived together and raised their family in Sayre.
Emma liked to be outdoors, going on rides through the country with John. She liked to paint and do needlepoint. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Emma is survived by her husband, John of Sayre; her three sons, John (Patty) of Vestal, N.Y., Tom (Michelle) of Parkville, Mo. and Tim (Linda) of Horseheads, N.Y.; her eight-grandchildren, Matthew Morgan, Austin Tokar, Morgan Tokar, Ian Morgan, Connor Morgan, Avery Morgan, Wyatt Morgan and Rose Morgan; and her sister, Anne Orzechowski, and several nieces and nephews.
Emma is preceded in death by her parents, John Znidarsic and Irene (Sustersic) Znidarsic, as well as a sister, Pauline Ulyon.
A memorial service for Amelia Irene (Znidarsic) Morgan will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 24 at Saint Callistus Cemetery on Route 66 in Kane, followed by a reception at the home of Ed Morgan, 465 Campbell Rd., Mount Jewitt.
Memorial donations may be made to the Saint Callistus Cemetery Fund, 342 Chase St., Kane, PA 16735.
