January 26, 2014

The Kane Wolves finished a point behind the first place Falconer wrestling team at this weekend's Salamanca Tournament. The Wolves had three wrestlers take home individual titles.

For the second straight week, the Kane Wolves’ wrestling team finished a large tournament as runner-up. This past weekend, the Wolves crossed the border into New York State to take part in the 16 team Salamanca Tournament. Coach Mike Swartwood’s team took second with 199.5 team points, a mere one point behind Falconer. The Wolves coach said of the winning team, “Falconer had some tough kids, I was impressed with their program.”
