'Blob' of arctic air to linger in Kane area

January 28, 2014

Photo by Ted Lutz – The Hamlin Bank sign in Kane shows a temperature of zero-- which is expected to be the high for today. Another blast of arctic air is expected to bring dangerously-low temperatures to the Kane area for at least three days.

The Kane area is bracing for another blast of bitter cold arctic air with "wind-chill" temperatures of 30 below zero.
The frigid temperatures will be comparable to those of Jan. 7 in the Kane area.
