Elkers use big 3rd quarter to break open game with Wolves

January 30, 2014

Photo by Amy Geer – Kane's Jeff Kocjancic goes up for the shot during the second half of Wednesday night's game with Ridgway. The Wolves led the game 9-8 at the half but the visitors outscored Kane 21-10 in the third quarter on their way to posting a 42-24 win.

The visiting Ridgway Elkers trailed the Kane Wolves boys’ basketball team 9-8 going into the locker room at halftime. Whatever the Elker coaching staff said during the break must have sunk in, because Ridgway came out and outscored the home team 21-10 during the next eight minutes on their way to posting a 42-24 win in the Wolves’ Den on Wednesday night.
