Roger Crate II

Roger Crate II, 24, of 24 Chestnut St., Mt. Jewett, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 at his residence.
Born Jan. 14, 1990, in Titusville, he was a son of Roger Crate and Laura Boedecker Conner.
Roger had been employed by Bradybaugh Logging and Sluga Logging.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Samantha Crate who is in the U.S. Army  at Ft. Leonardwood, Mo.; his maternal grandfather, Charles (fiancee Jackie Jefferds) Boedecker of Warren; his biological maternal grandmother, June Whipple of Panama, N.Y.; and his adoptive maternal grandmother, Diann Thayrer of Houston, Texas; and his stepfather, Loren (Butch) Conner.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, James and Anna McManigle; and his maternal great-grandmother, Marjorie Johnston.
Friends and family may attend a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at the Assembly of God Church in Mt. Jewett, with the Rev. Cam Mealy, pastor, and the Rev. W. Craig Smith co-officiating.
