The Kane Lady Wolves basketball team sent Kelsey Johnson and Katelyn Moran, the team’s two seniors, out on a high note with a come-from-behind 47-36 win over the Curwensville Golden Tide on Friday night. The Kane crowd honored the two seniors and their parents prior to tip-off in the final girls game of the season in the Wolves’ Den.
A few Kane turnovers led to easy baskets for the visitors early as the Tide jumped out to an 11-5 lead with less than a minute to play in the first quarter. Junior Taylor Morgan cut into the lead a bit when she grabbed an offensive rebound and put the ball back up and in with five seconds left in the opening period.
