Wolves fall to Cardinals in regular season finale

February 11, 2014

Photo by Amy Geer – Kane's Kevin Cleer lets go of a shot in the lane during Monday night's game with DuBois Central Catholic. Cleer and the Wolves came up short against the Cardinals and closed out their regular season with a 53-32 loss. The Wolves will find out late this week who they will face in the first round of the District 9 AA playoffs.

The Kane boys’ basketball team closed out the regular season on Monday night by hosting DuBois Central Catholic. The Cardinals, one of the top ranked teams in District 9, had narrowly defeated the Wolves on their home court, 49-43, back on Jan. 31.
Monday night’s game was not as close, as the visitors outscored the Wolves 19-5 to end the first half and 15-3 to finish out the game on their way to posting the 53-32 win.
