Troopers seeking help in yearlong investigation

The Pa. State Police Kane Station troopers are seeking help from the public regarding a yearlong investigation into a group of individuals involved in the alleged theft of property in and around McKean County.
During the past year, troopers from the Pa. State Police Kane Station have been investigating several burglaries and thefts taking place in McKean County. Most of these incidents occurred in Smethport Borough and the surrounding townships of Keating, Liberty, Norwich and Annin. The main items taken in all of these incidents were chainsaws, ATVs and dirt bikes, and the actors reportedly used two basic modes of operation to steal these items:
