Kane councilman found guilty in hit-run case

After hearing testimony, Judge Dave Engman rendered a guilty verdict that requires Gentilman to pay $413 in fines and costs. Beth Keener (seated at right) of Wetmore Township is the owner of the vehicle allegedly hit by Gentilman in the parking area of the Dollar General Store in Kane. She attended the trial, but did not testify.
