Kane councilman found guilty in hit-run case

Photo by Ted Lutz – Kane Borough Councilman John "G" Gentilman enters the Kane District Court for his trial Thursday on a hit-and-run charge. After hearing testimony, Judge Dave Engman rendered a guilty verdict that requires Gentilman to pay $413 in fines and costs. Beth Keener (seated at right) of Wetmore Township is the owner of the vehicle allegedly hit by Gentilman in the parking area of the Dollar General Store in Kane. She attended the trial, but did not testify.
