Ten Wolves advance to second day of D9 championships

The Wolves' senior pinned his first opponent in 25 seconds, then finished off Kindle in 28 seconds to advance to Saturday morning's semifinals. DeLong will face Keystone's Zach Stiglitz in the semis.

CLARION – Ten of 12 Kane wrestlers to take part in the 2014 District 9 Class AA Championships remain alive in the hunt to advance to next weekend’s Northwest Regional Tournament in Sharon. Seven Wolves will wrestle in this morning’s semifinals while three are still alive in the consolations. Kane goes into Saturday’s action in third place in the team score, with 66 points, behind Brookville’s 72 and Redbank Valley’s 70.5.
