Ruth H. Cooper, 101, of 4689 Union Road, Buffalo, N.Y., died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at her residence.
Born July 6, 1912, in Kane, she was a daughter of Gust and Anna Karlson Holt.
Mrs. Cooper was a beautician and proprietor of her own beauty salon.
Surviving are three daughters, Janice Cooper, Phyllis (Steven) Tuhovak and Elizabeth Cooper, all of Buffalo; a son, Lewis Cooper of Buffalo; three grandchildren, Steven (Lynne) Tuhovak, James Tuhovak and Cathy Tuhovak, all of Buffalo; and three great-granddaughters, Alexandra Tuhovak, Victoria Tuhovak and Natassia Tuhovak. Several local relatives also survive.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents, were 10 brothers and sisters.
Friends and family may attend funeral services at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. William R. LaVelle, Jr., pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
