Maple syrup forum at school

Nathan Wilson (center), a Kane fourth-grade student who operates Nathan's Maple Syrup business, shows off some of his products Monday at a presentation for all fourth-graders at the Kane Elementary School. Wilson, 10-year-old son of Glen and Sue Zook Wilson of Kane, has been making maple syrup for four years. Fourth-grade teacher Debbie Szymanski hosted the presentation a day before today's fourth-grade Field Trip to Sprague's Maple Farms in Portville, N.Y. The Field Trip will include a tour of the maple syrup business and a lunch with pancakes and maple syrup.
