Kane girls track team pounces Panthers

Photo by Amy Geer – Kayla Kerner is surrounded by Northern Potter Panthers at the start of the 100-meter dash. The Lady Wolves senior quickly broke away from the pack and won the event, as well as the 200 meters. She also ran a leg on Kane's winning 4x100 and 4x400 relays.

The Kane girls’ track and field waited an extra week to open their home track season but it was worth the wait as the Lady Wolves rolled over Northern Potter by a 106-39 score. Kayla Kerner was a quadruple winner for Kane and was backed up by triple winners Morgan Nicholson and Camryn Cummings.
