Golfers ready for season

The Kane Country Club golf course now is open for the season. Ready to play Friday are cousins Joe Scutella (left) of St. Marys and Pete Palumbo (right) of Bradford. Both are Kane natives and members of the Kane Country Club. The 18-hole course is open to the public. There is a weekday rate including greens fees and golf cart, and is in effect today and Sunday. Their is a Wednesday special which includes golf, cart and a steak dinner. John Rook, a 2005 graduate of Kane High School, is in his fourth year as the pro at Kane Country Club. For tee times, call 837-9491.
