Council weighs options for tennis courts project

Photo by Ted Lutz – The Kane Borough Council is exploring its options for renovating the three side-by-side tennis courts at Evergreen Park. Bids have been received for re-paving the surface. Bids also have been received for repairing the court surface. Council plans to use federal community development block grant (CDBG) funds for the project.

Two bids have been received for resurfacing the courts. 
Kingsview Enterprises of Lakewood, N.Y. has submitted the apparent low bid of $40,300 for new pavement for the courts. Maple Athletic Surfaces submitted a bid of $82,000.
