Kane Zoning Board approves small engine repair shop

Photo by Ted Lutz – Several Kane residents attend a Wednesday evening meeting of the Kane Zoning Hearing Board at the borough building. The board approved a small engine repair shop at South Fraley Street and Hemlock Avenue and a new garage on Greeves Street.

A new business soon will be operating in a vacant building at 210 S. Fraley St. at the corner of East Hemlock Avenue in Kane.
The Kane Zoning Hearing Board voted 3-0 Wednesday to grant a special exception in the zoning law for the operation of the business in a residential zone.
