AAU D9 Elite

The girls' AAU "D9 Elite" Travel Basketball team traveled to New York state recently and placed second in the Buffalo JamFest Tournament. The local girls won both of their games on Saturday, placing them at the top of their pool. On Sunday, they won their first game, advancing them to the championship game. The girls finished the weekend as the Runner-Ups, losing to a tough and physical team from Canada. Team members include, from left to right, front row, Amelia Holjencin (Cameron County), Julia Sweeney (Elk County Catholic), Kiley Kinney (Kane), back row, Susie Guisto (Cameron County), Anna Colebert (Otto-Eldred), Madi Guisto (Cameron County), Madison Harrier (Cameron County) and Brinya Moffett (Bradford).
