Kane girls finish 6th at Altoona WCC Track Meet

Morgan Nicholson gets ready to let go of the shot put during Friday's West Central Coaches Track and Field Championship meet in Altoona. Nicholson came through with her best throw ever in the shot put, 39' 8", which had her in first place at the end of the event. The Lady Wolves senior also finished first in the javelin.

The Kane girls’ track and field team traveled to Altoona’s Mansion Park on Friday evening to take part in the West Central Coaches Track Championship meet. The Lady Wolves finished in sixth place out of the 30 competing AA schools with 41 points. The Johnsonburg girls finished in first place in AA.
