The Cardinals defeated the Wolves 14-4 in six innings in the first game, then took the second half of the double header by a 12-6 score. Kane's season comes to a close Wednesday at home against Elk County Catholic.

The Kane Wolves lost both ends of a doubleheader to DuBois Central Catholic on Monday at Pat Santilli Field. The Wolves, who played two games on Saturday, lost 14-4 in the opener and 12-6 in the nightcap.
The first game was a continuation of a game that began in mid-April. Monday’s contest began with Jeff Kocjancic on second base with one out. DCC starting pitcher Phil Myers, the team’s ace, kept the Wolves off the scoreboard in his three innings on the mound.
