Members of Boy Scout Troop 427 in Kane are digging a cavity as the burial site for the Time Capsule for Kane’s Sesquicentennial celebration this summer. The group includes, left to right, front row: Ian O’Hara and Joey Walters; back row: Robert Peterson, Dennis Galvin (Scoutmaster), Jack Walker and Jacob Walker. The site is located in a bank adjacent to the Kane Depot on Fraley Street. The Time Capsule will be buried as part of the closing ceremony and won’t be opened until 2064 at the 200th anniversary of the founding of Kane.
