James M. Milliron

James M. Milliron, 86, of Stonehedge Circle, Brookville, formerly of Marienville, died Monday, May 20, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society, Lake Forest Village, Denton, Texas.
He was born April 2, 1928, in Hazelhurst, the son of Harry Vern Milliron and Ruby Nogar. On Jan. 21, 1949, in Kane, he married the former Valjean Maze, who preceded him in death on June 20, 2010.
Mr. Milliron was a veteran having served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He retired from Anchor Glass Co. in Dayville, Conn. He also worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service, and was part owner of Horizon Glass in Las Vegas, Nev.
He loved hunting, fishing, maintaining his home and car, eating and sharing with his Yorkie L.D.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen E. Rios of Wichita, Kan. and Debra R. Hugie of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Ronnie Milliron of Henderson, Nev.; a sister, Joyce Benninger of Henderson, Nev.; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and one sister.
A memorial service for James M. Milliron will be held at Good Samaritan Society Lake Forest Chapel, Denton, Texas on May 31 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Hunter officiating.
A burial service was held May 27 at the Redcliff Cemetery, Barnett Township, Forest County. The McKinney Funeral Home in Brookville was in charge of local arrangements.
