A public reception was held Friday to honor Linda Carlson, who is retiring after a 29-year career as administrator of the Lutheran Home at Kane. Carlson (center) greets two of the guests who are residents at the Lutheran Home on High Point Drive off Clay Street. The guests include Carlson's 93-year-old aunt Hildur Mohney (left) and Carlson's long-time neighbor Fran Meckley (right), who is 97 years old. More than 100 attended the reception at the Lutheran Home.
