Olson playing pro football for Baltimore Nighthawks

June 7, 2014

Laura Olson, pictured here during a game earlier this season, is an offensive lineman and defensive end for the Baltimore Nighthawks of the IWFL. The Nighthawks are currently 4-2 and play the Washington Prodigy and Pittsburgh Passion the next two weeks before starting the postseason.

Kane native Laura Olson is a successful physical therapist specializing in pediatrics at Baltimore’s Franklin Square Medical Center. While the 2002 KHS grad spends her days working with children that suffer from cerebral palsy, she spends her evenings strapping on a helmet and practicing as a lineman, or rather, linewoman, for the Baltimore Nighthawks of the Independent Women’s Football League.
