Kane Elks Lodge #329 will hold their annual Flag Day Ceremony tomorrow at the Evergreen Park gazebo across from the lodge on Chestnut Street. The 2 p.m. ceremony will be held inside the lodge in the event of rain.
Flag Day holds special significance to the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, as each lodge holds an observance of the day that commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on Jan. 14, 1777 by the Second Continental Congress.
