Theodore "Fred" Holmes

Theodore "Fred" Holmes, 67, of 206 Park Ave., died suddenly on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Kane Community Hospital.
Born May 24, 1947 in Kane, he was a son of the late Richard W. and Alma Berggren Holmes. On May 17, 1969, in Kane, he married Mary Kay Cappello who survives.
Mr. Holmes was the longtime owner and operator of the Family Drive-In Theater. He was a member of the Kane Fish & Game Club
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Tracy (Don) Zilkofski of Kane; three grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary and Kristen Zilkofski of Kane; a brother, Wayne L. Holmes; and a sister, Ann (Wayne) Chapman, all of Kane. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Gary Holmes; and a sister, Linda Haight.
Private funeral services for Theodore "Fred" Holmes will be held by the family. Burial will be at St. Callistus Cemetery.
