Marilyn Blackmore, the show director of Art in the Wilds, reads a proclamation recognizing longtime Kane artist John Bloomquist for his contributions to the arts on Saturday. Bloomquist, who is also a member of the Art in the Wilds committee, had a table displaying some of his works at the park, including pottery and paintings. Looking on as the proclamation is read is John, his wife Cheri, his brother Seth and daughter Karin and many friends.
