Highland supervisor suggests township 'nepotism policy'

July 16, 2014

Highland Township Chairman James Wolfe seemed to stir up a hornet’s nest near the end of Wednesday evening’s regular monthly meeting when he asked residents for their opinion on the adoption of a possible township nepotism policy.
Response from the nearly two dozen residents in attendance was immediate and, in large part, negative, as some residents voiced their opinion that such a policy should have been enacted a long time ago. No motion was made to pass such a proposal as residents offered opinions as to why Wolfe brought up the subject.
