Kane school chief loses appeal of federal lawsuit

Dr. Maryann Anderson, superintendent of the Kane Area School District, has lost her appeal of a federal court decision to dismiss her lawsuit against three former colleagues in the Mlillcreek Township School District near Erie.
The Third District Appellate Court in Philadelphia ruled Thursday to uphold the dismissal by former federal court judge Sean McLaughlin of Erie.
The defendants in the Anderson lawsuit include:
*Dr. Dean Maynard, former superintendent of the Millcreek Township School District.
*Susan Sullivan, former vice president of the Millcreek Township School Board.
