Mandatory Baseline ImPACT testing for fall KASD athletes set

July 22, 2014

Photo by Amy Geer – Krystal Nuhfer, Kane Area School District's Licensed Athletic Trainer, will be scheduling ImPACT testing for all Kane fall sport athletes entering into the seventh, ninth and 11th grades, as well as students in other grades that did not play sports before.

The Kane Area School District requires student-athletes to take a Baseline test prior to the first day of practice. Baseline tests are given every two years to student/athletes. Athletes entering grades 7, 9 and 11, as well as students entering other grades but who have never participated in a KASD sport before must be tested before they are allowed to participate in an official practice.
