Kane sewer board wants action on unpaid bills

The Kane Borough Sewer Authority is losing its patience with the collection of unpaid sewer bills.
The authority in May received notice that water would be shut off to 147 sewer customers who had long-term unpaid bills.
Apparently, many of the shut-offs never happened.
Pennsylvania Municipal Services (PAMS), which now collects Kane sewer bills, reportedly told the authority that it would see a "spike" in sewer payments once the water shut-off notices were issued.
