IU-9 pre-school program is underway in Kane

Photo by Ted Lutz – The local IU-9 pre-school program-- now located in a vacant classroom at the Kane Elementary School-- already is underway for the new school year. Classes in the Kane Area School District won't resume until Tuesday.
But the IU-9 pre-school program-- now located in a vacant classroom at the Kane Elementary School-- already is underway.
A total of 24 area children between the ages of 3 and 5 attend the pre-school program, which features a morning session from 7:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and an afternoon session from 11:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. There are 12 children in the morning session and 12 children in the afternoon session.
