The Kane Wolves basketball found the going tough against an aggressive Bradford Owls team in a 59-31 loss.
The Owls played pressure defense for most of the first half and came away with several steals which led to easy baskets at the other end.
Kane was unable to penetrate the tight defense for any hoops until they got their first points with 1:47 to go in the first quarter. Bradford led after the first period 21-4. The Wolves started to attack the defense but they were out of their comfort zone and kind of made the going difficult as they drove right into the bigger team. The Owls were just quicker and had a much bigger presence in the middle. It seemed that most of the loose balls were going the way of the visitors too.
The Wolves were led by A.J. Stefani and Jeff Kocjancic who both chipped in with 10 points. Most of them coming in the second half.
