Several criminal cases have been filed in Kane District Court.

Information on the following cases is from official court documents:
*Randy Hugh McCaslin, 45, of 9 High St., Mt. Jewett, is charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, failure to drive within a single lane, careless driving, operating a vehicle while possessing an open container of alcohol and failure to produce a driver’s license.
A test showed the defendant’s blood alcohol content (BAC) to be .26 percent—more than triple the legal limit.
State Police Corporal David Smith filed the charges after stopping the defendant’s black 2001 Ford pickup truck on Main Street (Route 6) in Mt. Jewett near Kushequa Avenue.
*Justin A. Thiry, 24, of 711 Greendale Road, Wetmore Township, is charged with DUI (alcohol).
A test showed the defendant’s BAC to be .279 percent—more than triple the legal limit.
Kane Borough Police Officer Bill Nichols placed the charge. The defendant was driving a tan 2003 Ford Explorer on Field Street in Kane at the time of the traffic stop.
*Corry Charles Chittester, 32, of 4003 Route 6, Kane, is charged with DUI (alcohol), failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and careless driving.
A test showed the defendant’s BAC to be .217 percent—more than double the legal limit.
State Police Trooper Frank Milliard placed the charges after investigating a traffic accident on West Kane Road near Reigel Road in Wetmore Township.
The defendant was driving a silver 1999 GMC Sierra south on West Wind Road. He allegedly “failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway while answering his cell phone,” court records show. The vehicle crossed into the opposite traffic lane and “exited the roadway onto the east berm,” court documents indicate.
