Douglas Eugene Dilley, 32, of Adamsville, Ala., formerly of Kane, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Baptist Medical Center.
He was born July 30, 1979, and was an electrician, employed by M&A Electric.
Visitation was held Sunday at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in Dora, Ala.
Survivors include his wife Stephanie Dilley of Adamsville; parents, Richard and Christine Dilley of Kane; sister, Lori (Wesley) Stevens of Edwards, N.Y.; brother, Travis (Shauna) Dilley of Bradford; father- and mother-in-law, Bobby and Liz Barnes of Quinton; brother-in-law, Bobby Barnes Jr. (Amy) of Jasper; sister-in-law, Amanda (Richard) Moates of Clanton; seven nephews; several aunts, uncles cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Scott Dilley.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with the rev. Chad Troup, pastor of the First Church of God, Kane, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family of Douglas E. Dilley will also be receiving friends on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., when a service will be held at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc., Kane.
