SMETHPORT – The Kane Lady Wolves’ basketball team opened the 2012-2013 season with a 54-28 win over the Smethport Lady Hubbers on Monday night. Both squads started out slowly with Kane leading 4-2 midway through the first quarter before the Lady Wolves turned it on and outscored the Hubs 10-3 in the final three minutes of the opening quarter.
