Photo by Ted Lutz – Two black sneakers have been tied together by their laces and tossed over the horizontal traffic signal pole at Fraley and Greeves streets in Kane. Are the hanging sneakers linked with crime? Or were the sneakers tossed over the pole as a prank? The Kane Volunteer Fire Department has been asked to use its ladder truck to remove the shoes from the pole.
