Wolves Turn in Best Effort of Season at Coudersport Invitational
According to its head coach, Tom Cecchetti, the Kane Wolves boys track team enjoyed its best outing of the season at the Coudersport Invitational on Saturday.
Junior javelin thrower Joe Geer was the only first-place winner for Kane. He turned in another Big 30 area best with a throw of 182’8”.

The Kane Elks Club bowling leagues held their annual season ending banquet Sunday at the local lodge. This year’s champs included Seneca Auto of Monday night’s American League. Team members are Jack Launtz, Louie Bizzak, Joe Bizzak Sr, Jerry Bizzak and Skeeter Nelson. K & W Cleaners won the Wednesday night Classic League title. Team members are Bill Whiteman, Jim Gibson, Bill Blauser, Jim Mague and sponsor Walt Daniels. Members of the champion team of the Friday night National League are Dave Wheatley, Jawn Wahlberg, Steve Gibson, Tony Leskovec and Gary Wahlberg.
